About Yelda Rashid
Yelda Rashid is a solicitor of England and Wales and an advocate in Bulgaria, practising in London as a Consultant Solicitor of Taylor Rose Limited.
Who you’ll speak to.

Yelda Rashid is a solicitor of England and Wales practising as a Consultant Solicitor at Taylor Rose Limited, a national law firm. Your contract is with Taylor Rose, the SRA-regulated firm, which holds client money and the professional indemnity insurance. So your matter has the infrastructure of a national firm behind it, while the work itself stays with Yelda.
She is also a qualified advocate in Bulgaria. For clients whose move touches both countries — funds transferred from abroad, documents issued overseas, family arrangements made under Bulgarian law — that second qualification removes a translation layer that ordinarily sits between client and solicitor.
I want to be the solicitor my clients would hire, and the one they’d trust with the difficult questions.

Experience
Yelda was admitted as an advocate in Bulgaria in January 2013 and as a solicitor of England and Wales in November 2021. She has more than four years’ qualified experience as a solicitor.
Her work covers residential conveyancing from instruction to registration: sales and purchases of freehold and leasehold homes, auction purchases, lease extensions, remortgages and transfers of equity, together with gifted deposits and tenancy agreements.
Much of it has an overseas element: money that comes from abroad, buyers and sellers who live outside the UK, and the checks that lenders and the anti-money-laundering rules require for both. Recent matters include a leasehold purchase, a purchase at auction and a transfer of equity.
How she works
Yelda explains the law in plain language, so that you understand each step and decide with the facts in front of you. She keeps you informed at every stage, and works closely with your lender, your estate agent and the other side’s solicitor so that the matter keeps moving.
- Calls and meetings in English or Bulgarian, whichever you prefer.
- Identity checks online and meetings by video, wherever you live in England and Wales.
- A written quote before anything starts, and no retainer until you sign the client care letter.
Why working in Bulgarian matters
Buying or selling a home in England is a different process from a sale before a notary in Bulgaria. Contracts are exchanged weeks before completion, searches come back from the council and the water company, most flats come with a lease to read, and the lender sets its own conditions. Explained in your own language, it is easier to follow, and harder to miss something that matters.
Qualified in both countries, Yelda can also see when something on the Bulgarian side touches your English transaction: money from the sale of a family property in Bulgaria, a power of attorney signed there, or a document that needs an apostille.
